Festival mountain Bike information

The date is set for the 2020 Pine Needle Mountain Bike & Music Festival!  2020 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Festival!  Sign your team up today and take advantage of the 1st Early Bird Rate!

The 6 Hour Mountain Bike Enduro is the heart and soul of the Pine Needle!  This event is designed to be a fun and exciting mountain bike ride for all skill and ability levels.  The course feature mostly rolling terrain that takes you through the beautiful Little Red River Park.  There are only a couple gradual but challenging climbs out of the river valley.  1 loop for measures 6.2km in length.  A course map will be available for download soon.

Round up some friends and sign up as a 4 person team.  This is what it is all about...while 1 team mate is taking their turn riding a lap, the rest of the team can enjoy the live music, food and mingle with all the other participants in the "Pit Area".  Bring some snacks, cold drinks and set up your spot and enjoy the day!

Looking to be a little more ambitious?  You can enter a 2 person team and really challenge yourself.  See how many laps you can do in the 6 hours.  This category is a bit more competitive, but who isn't up for a challenge?

Want to really see what you're made of?  You can also ride the 6 hours all by yourself....the ultimate challenge!  Test yourself against some of the fastest cyclists in Saskatchewan.  Be the rider to complete the most laps in the Individual category and you will be rewarded: see below.  Not looking to set any speed records?  That's okay, you can enter this category and just enjoy the trails and riding your bike!

Participants are encouraged to gather pledges too!  Fundraising is a very important part of the Festival. Over the past 8 years the Festival has raised over $52,000 for our community!  We are continuing to raise money for Little Red River Park.  The money from your fundraising efforts will go towards improvements to the Park.  There is also awesome prizes for the top fundraising teams and individuals!  Download your pledge form and start gathering those pledges.

***A tax receipt will be issued by The City of Prince Albert for donations over $20.***
