Pine Needle Mountain Bike Festival

Welcome to the official website of the 2012 Pine Needle Mountain Bike Festival.

The Festival will be held on Sunday June 10, 2012 at Little Red River Park in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.  The Festival starts at 11am and runs through until 5pm. 

The Festival is a 6 hour enduro mountain bike event….what!  6 hours, I can’t ride that long.  No worries build your team of 4 or a team of 2 and conquer those 6 hours.  Those who are hardcore’s can do it all on their own as well.  Download your pledge form and raise some money for a local charity.  The charity we have chosen this year is the Prince Albert Chapter of KidSport.  KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.  For more information about KidSport, please visit their website at www.kidsportcanada.ca.  We challenge you to raise as much as you can because the teams and individuals that collect the most in pledges will win some great prizes. 

The mountain biking is just part of the event.  There will be live local bands on the stage!  Come see All Mighty Voice, She Bam and Dust 'til' Dawn.  Excellent food will be served up from Two By Dahlsjo, Persia Bistro and Chef Jenni (of New Ground Cafe).  For the kids there will be a Bike & Safety Rodeo hosted by Parkland Ambulance and Ecole des Petites, or cut the kids loose in the 2 bouncy castles!
